Rooted in Practical Theology, the MAML offers a personalized, cohort-based learning experience, which prepares students in both professional (vocational) and volunteer ministry contexts. Students in the MAML are prepared as well-rounded ministry leaders possessing valuable skills, scholarship, and expertise toward shaping both their faith communities and the world for Jesus Christ.Everyday life and ministry challenges in the 21st century require a truly applied theology guided by the Holy Spirit while asking “What IS Jesus doing (here and now)?” and “What is mine to do?” Coursework in Strategic Planning/Leadership Development, Contextual Kingdom Ministry, Spiritual Formation, Biblical History & Culture, and Facilitation of Learning Communities will prepare you to develop practical ministry responses to lead in today’s global diversity.
